La Mirada hosts a free fireworks show every year on the 3rd of July and since it is a stone's throw away from Larry and Mary's house, we decided to go again this year. Before the show, we had a barbecue at their house. The kids had fun playing in the backyard, and we enjoyed delicious food provided by Mary. Since Leo goes to bed before the sun is down, I took him home to put him to sleep, but Brian and Zoey stayed to see the fireworks show. Everyone had a blast (pun intended), and we can't wait to do it again next year! - Melissa
