The toddler bed

Melissa and I decided that it was long overdue for Zoey to transition to a toddler bed. A week ago I changed the crib over to a toddler bed setup. The idea is to get her used to this setup for about a month and then break the crib down completely and get her a real bed. This way when Rosa Jr. is ready for the crib Zoey will already have her own bed and won't be jealous of losing the crib. So far the result has been interesting, she LOVES the new bed setup.....she just doesn't sleep in the bed. As soon as we put her down to sleep for a nap or bedtime, she thinks it's playtime. She'll play and destroy the room, knocking all the books of the bookcase, moving the toys everywhere, even going as far as taking all the blankets off the bed and making a new bed setup on the ground. Twice in the past week she as passed out on the ground, as seen in the pics below. Melissa tells me that she is just getting the used to the new found bed freedom.....we'll see. -Brian
