Three birthdays and a mouse, August 21-22

The weekend of August 21-22 was a busy birthday weekend. We had multiple parties to attend and were also intent on SOME naps for the little ones!

First up was Eliott Masterjohn's 5th birthday at a bowling alley. Bowling was a little chaotic with a bunch of 3 to 8 year olds. I tried to keep some kind of order...and well, I'm just glad no toes were broken! (I forgot my camera for this event, thanks to Chris and Stacy for the pics.)

The second party of the weekend was for Keaton Lucero's 1st birthday at a park in Ladera Ranch. Keaton went to town on his birthday ice-cream cake. During this party, Leo and Zoey enjoyed playing in, as Zoey called it, the "Super-Super" playground.

Zoey and I took a short birthday party break and went to Disneyland on Sunday morning August 22 (the first day it was open for season pass holders from the summer break). We met up with Larry, Tina and Sara Mowles. The girls had a blast meeting Mickey and playing in Toon Town.

The final Birthday party was Brian H's at Sandi and Robert's house. Tommy and Sophia were at a wedding, so they were unable to make the event, but Dominic was there to keep things entertaining for Zoey. At the end of the evening, Brian H and Theresa played a funny game of "hide and seek" with the kids.

It was a long, fun weekend celebrating birthdays, but we all had a blast! Zoey thinks that all weekends should be filled with this many cakes, balloons, and presents.
