Thanksgiving 2009

Having both sides of the family local means two Thanksgiving meals on one day within hours of each other. This crazy tradition for Melissa and I started in 2002 and makes for a busy family filled day. Melissa typically makes 4 pies, two apple and two pumpkin. The Mashouf's went apple picking the week before and gave us fresh apples for the pies. The Skiles meal starts early at Robert and Sandi's house, usually eating by 11 AM. The Rosa side starts mid-afternoon and hosting alternates between my mom and my Aunt Linda. This year was at Linda's house.

Pictures from both events are in the slide show. You'll notice that Zoey, Leo and Dominic had a few outfit changes to cover the multiple Christmas card pictures. -Brian
