Melissa and I decided on a last minuite road trip up to Hanford, Rocklin and Fremont over a three day weekend Feb 14, 15 and 16. First stop was lunch with Amy and Steve Farris in Hanford, CA. In the fall of 2008 they had their first baby, Sonora Rose.
After lunch we were back on the road, and if you've never traveled along the I-99 or anywhere in the Central Valley there is a long open spaces unlike SoCal.
On Saturday night we made it up to Rockin to visit the Morgan's, Karianne, Matthew, Ben and new baby Jackson. Zoey had fun paying with Ben and all his toys.
On Sunday we stayed inside all day as the weather outside was cold and rainy. This didn't matter to Zoey, she continued to party with Ben and Karianne.
On Monday morning we headed out to Fremont to visit my Aunt Theresa and my cousins Joey and Melissa. Zoey once again rulled the visit and discovered a toy of Joey's.
After a brief visit we jumped back in the car and headed home. We unfortunaly had to alter our drive plans, The I-5 was closed due to snow so we took the sceanic but LONG hwy 101 home and hit all kinds of traffic. Zoey was a trooper in the car as long as she had her Curious George videos. We did see a rainbow on the drive home.
Pictures from the entire trip.
Thanks for watching,
Brian

Thanks for stopping by desolate Hanford! We loved seeing you again. Great pictures...and I think that's the first time I've ever heard my laugh on tape. Sort of sounds like a wicked witch! Love you guys!
I loved all the video clips. The two kids spinning in circles was priceless! Also, that toy that keeps all the balls suspended is too cool.
Also, is it the angle, or is Zoey going to outgrow that car seat pretty soon?
